Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) has announced a direct recruitment drive for the position of Lifeguard cum Trainer. The Tourist Department of VMC is inviting eligible candidates for a Walk-in Interview to fill 24 vacancies on a contractual basis.

Vacancy Details

The 24 available posts are divided between Male and Female candidates with Full-Time and Part-Time options:

  • Lifeguard cum Trainer (Male): 15 Posts (05 Full Time + 10 Part Time)

  • Lifeguard cum Trainer (Female): 09 Posts (03 Full Time + 06 Part Time)

(Note: Preference will be given to candidates applying for Full-Time positions.)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Education:

  • Candidates must have passed S.S.C. (Class 10).

2. Skills:

  • Must be an Expert Swimmer with knowledge of water rescue techniques.

  • Must know First Aid treatments like CPR (Artificial Respiration).

  • Experience in training/coaching swimming is preferred.

3. Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 40 Years (as of 05-01-2026).

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a Walk-in Interview and a Practical Swimming Test.

  • Candidates must bring their own swimming costume for the practical test.

  • Selection is based on merit and performance in the test.

Salary Structure

  • Full Time: ₹ 20,000/- per month.

  • Part Time: ₹ 10,000/- per month.

Interested candidates should report directly to the venue with their original documents and a set of self-attested photocopies.
