1 Educational Qualifications
For Senior Computer Instructor (Pay Matrix Level-10):
- Master in Engineering (M.E.) / Master in Technology (M.Tech) in CS / IT / ECE / EE / EEE / ETE / EIE. OR
- M.Sc. in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT). OR
- Master in Computer Application (MCA) / ‘B’ Level / ‘C’ Level. OR
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the Government.
For Basic Computer Instructor (Pay Matrix Level-8):
- Graduate and ‘A’ LEVEL / PGDCA (Minimum one year). OR
- Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) / B.Tech in CS / IT / ECE / EE / EEE / EIC / TIE. OR
- B.Sc. in Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / BCA. OR
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the Government.

2 Age Limit (As on 01.01.2027)
The candidate must have attained the age of 18 Years and must not have exceeded 40 Years as of January 01, 2027.
Special Relaxation: Since no recruitment took place for the Secondary Education Department posts post-2022, candidates applying for these specific posts will receive an additional age relaxation of 3 years. (Not applicable to Sanskrit Education Dept posts).

- If a candidate decides NOT to attempt a question, they MUST darken the 5th circle (Option ‘E’).
- If a candidate leaves a question completely blank (no circle darkened), 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for that question.
- Candidates who leave more than 10% of the total questions completely blank without darkening the 5th option will be disqualified from the exam.
- An extra 10 minutes will be given at the end of the exam specifically to darken the ‘E’ circles for unattempted questions.
