General Eligibility & Age Limit
General Eligibility for Deputation
Candidates must be Officers under the Central Government, State Government, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Semi-Government, Autonomous bodies, or statutory organizations holding:
- An analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; OR
- A specified number of years of regular service in the immediate lower pay level (e.g., 5 years in Level-10 for applying to a Level-11 post).
- The specific educational qualifications (CA, CS, LLB, MBA Finance, etc.) and specific years of experience in relevant fields as detailed for each post in the official annexures.
Maximum Age Limit
The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of application (i.e., 30 April 2026). The maximum period of deputation ordinarily shall not exceed 3 to 5 years depending on the post.
