Eligibility Criteria
1 Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Assistant Professor: B.E./B.Tech/B.S. and M.E./M.Tech/M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent. (Ph.D. is highly preferred). For non-engineering subjects, a Master’s degree with 55% marks and NET/SLET/SET qualification or Ph.D. is required.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 2 years must be Post Ph.D.
- Professor: Ph.D. degree in relevant field with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years must be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
2 Age Limit (As on Closing Date)
Upper age limit for Assistant Professor is generally 35 Years. For Associate Professor, it is 50 Years, and for Professor, it is 55 Years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Govt. of NCT of Delhi rules.
